The groundbreaking ceremony for the electric bus assembly plant at Um Al Houl Free Zone marked a major milestone in Qatar’s sustainable mobility journey. Led by H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Thani, the event celebrated the strategic collaboration between Mowasalat (Karwa), Yutong, and Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ) to establish a state-of-the-art e-bus production facility, reinforcing Qatar’s commitment to green transportation and industrial localization.
